Welcome to Online Critiques!

Happy New Year!

Yesterday started a brand new calendar year and today, Ju and I are pleased to announce the official opening of our online  Critiquing/Proofreading Service for aspiring authors and businesses.

Being avid readers, we're often annoyed when the written word is used improperly, so we've decided to make it work for us. Online Critiques offers low prices, flexible turn around times and friendly service. We're not here to poke fun at your writing efforts, but to sincerely help make your writing clearer, more precise and grammatically correct. You choose what you need help with and we assist. Simple, right?

Not always! We will critique or proofread as requested, but we'll also notify you if other services should be applied. For instance, you send us your manuscript for a last minute run through searching for typos, spelling and grammar mistakes and we also find problems with point of view or sentence structure. Are we going to send your work back to you without commenting? No! We want to help you succeed, no matter which written road you're traveling. (Actually, there are a few exceptions.) We'll inform you of the type of error(s) found as well as an estimate involving further services. Beyond that, the choice is yours.

We want this to be a positive experience for you. There's no better advertising than a happy customer. Check out our sample pages and testimonials of people we have edited/critiqued/proofread for before joining forces. Together, Ju and I are a force to be reckoned with. We ask that you try us, then refer our service to your friends.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. It's great to see someone offering this service for those of us writting romance. Harlequin use to do it for a fee but they cancelled theirs so where to go wher you know you'll get another pair of eyes to look at your work? Well now I can go here. Thanks for setting this up.

  2. Welcome, Denise.

I feel so excited and inspired to be part of this new project. Writing is a lonely task, but editing need not be! What better way than to help fellow writers to achieve their dreams.
